Competitiveness.
To me it's a bit like exercise (as per yesterday's post): it can be a stressor or it can relieve stress in that competition can spur one on to be better.
Probably not the best example here, but as a newbie to regular posting, I was amazed/daunted to hear that Seth Godin has posted every day for over 20 years. Every. Day.
Like I said, to even reference this situation as my being competitive is ridiculous. It's David and Goliath, except I'm the gnat on David's sleeve that he casually flicked away before going into battle.
And in this version of the story, Goliath saw David, laughed kindly and walked away.
I'll let you know how I'm feeling about this in 2044...
Meantime, love to hear your thoughts on competitiveness: does it work for you?
