Seven Second Saturday: Music Theory, Middle C

Last week we learned about the five lines and four spaces of the stave.


Today we have a note which has its own little line, called a ledger line. The note is Middle C, written here for both the treble clef and the bass clef, and situated roughly in the middle of the piano.
